The effect, as you can see, is almost like there are large spiders (little monsters?) climbing all over Gaga’s naked figure. The tagline reads “The First Ever Black Eau de Parfum.” The scent, which Gaga will unveil in September, is apparently exactly that – black liquid that smells like “tears of belladonna, crushed heart of tiger orchidea with a black veil of incense, pulverized apricot and the combinative essences of saffron and honey drops.” The perfume will arrive in an occult-looking bottle, which you can see in the ad as well.
.
The ad was shot by fashion photographer Steven Klein, who previously worked with Gaga on the music video for “Alejandro.” Gaga tweeted, “i won’t lie I’m a bit nervous. its been a while since i’ve shared some work with you. But i’m so proud of Steven+I, we really did not sleep!”

Does this ad entice you to buy Fame? We like it, as strange as it is. And after seeing this ad we’re even more curious to know what the heck this perfume smells like. After all, Gaga did say last year, “[Blood and semen] is in the perfume but it doesn’t smell like it. You just get sort of the after feeling of sex from the semen and the blood is sort of primal. And the blood was taken from my own blood sample so it’s like a sense of having me on your skin.”
